BENEFITS
If you are interested in the field of empirical aesthetics, IAEA welcomes you to apply for membership. As a member you will have access to regular updates about news in empirical aesthetics, including meetings and conferences in related areas, and forthcoming special issues of related journals. Furthermore, there are reduced fees for members at the biannual IAEA conference.

Please note:
  • Membership is for a two-year period (always starting in an even year)
  • membership is valid for exactly two legal years independent from when during this term you become member (i.e. from the 1st of January of an even year (2022, 2024, 2026) until the 31st of December of the consecutive odd year (2023, 2025, 2027)

    • Fees for the 2024/2025 period are:
      • €120 for full members
      • €80 for student members (undergraduate, graduate, or PhD students)

Please note that all payments made after October 1st, 2023 count for the term 2024/2025 and thus membership will only start on January, 1st, 2024

      APPLICATION & RENEWAL
You can become a member or renew your membership by paying the fee via paypal (button below). Please indicate under "Member name and E-Mail" for whom the payment will be and which e-mail you want to use for contacting you. This is especially important if the name of the member is not identical to the owner of the credit card or paypal account. When paying the fee with paypal we would like you to add additional information about yourself in the "Current Position and Academic Degree:" text input field. Please first indicate your current position (e.g. PhD student, Post-doc, Professor) and your academic degree. An offline application form may be used only if there are serious reasons to declare your membership via air mail. If you have questions about membership, please contact the Secretary-General of IAEA, Aniko Illes, by email at: anikoilles@gmail.com
